The 15th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival runs from 6-16 June 2013 at the Bioscope in Johannesburg and at Nu Metro V&A Waterfront and The Fugard in Cape Town.

Air Cinema Club is an open-air movie club intended for lovers of film. It is a movement rather than an event and is intended to create a new trend of movie-wise viewers that learn the art of appreciation for good cinema. Our screenings will be a night of living the genre of a film.

Kagiso Lediga’s new movie Blitz Patrollei (The long arm of the law just got shorter) to come to our sight nationwide today the 10th May 2013 at various recognized cinemas. Blitz Patrollie stars two South African hilarious comedians David Kau Dikolobe and Joey Rasdien.

The 16th ZIFF official selection has just been announced. A total of 80 films are featured in 4 categories: ZIFF Competition, Sembene Prize, Bongo Movies, Out of Competition. The festival kicks off on 29th June until 7th July.

South African actress Florence Masebe’s win at the recent AMAA (Africa Movie Academy Awards) for her role in Ntshavheni wa Luruli’s Elewani was celebrated at a special event hosted by Lebogang Maile, the Gauteng MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, on 2 May at Johannesburg’s Emoyeni Estate.
